At AWS Insight 2021—Amazon’s first major gathering since before the pandemic—I created designs for a full spectrum of event signage. Across more than 1,100 individual deliverables, I built everything from scrolling banners and posters to tabletop signs, breakout-room graphics, flags, wayfinding, and scheduling boards, all aimed at smoothing the attendee experience. Early on, I established a cohesive visual system so every touchpoint felt connected and easy to navigate. I also prepped flexible, branded templates so the onsite team could spin up last-minute signs on demand without breaking consistency. That combination of clear wayfinding, high-volume production, and agile tooling kept the event moving—and kept the focus on the content, not the logistics.
