I didn’t realize how many lakes there are back East until I started working with Lakebound—it opened my eyes and my camera roll. I loved collaborating with families and hearing the stories behind the lakes that mattered to them; those conversations shaped the visuals I created. The brand encouraged me to live the “Lakebound lifestyle,” so I took my camping trips as fieldwork—capturing nature shots and turning them into social content. It was a woman-owned small business on Etsy, and even though we worked remotely, we kept a tight, collaborative rhythm. That mix of storytelling, on-the-ground imagery, and close partnership really sharpened my instincts for authentic, audience-first design
